The importance of Mecca to Muslims:

I- It has the Kaaba which is an old building that was built by Abraham.
II- It has Zamzam Well is located 20 meter east the Kaaba. It was a miracle from God when Abraham infant son Ishmael was thirsty.

III- It has the Masjid Al-Haram ("The Sacred Mosque). The area of it is 400,800 square metres and it can accommodate up to 4 million worshippers. It considered as one of the largest places in the world.

The History of Mecca:

It started at the time of Abraham when he built the Kaaba with his son Ishmael around 2000 BC. People start living in Mecca after the miracle of Zamzam Well. In 570, the Prophet Muhammad was burn.
